Using digital images for interdisciplinary teaching and learning

Where do I access ARTstor?

From the Library homepage go to Databases.  Choose ARTstor from the A-Z list.

ARTstor Mobile

ARTstor now has a mobile site for iPhone, iPad & iPod touch users.  Go to in your Safari browser and login. Check out the flashcard feature for studying! Tap the center of the image to the view caption.

Technical Requirements

If you are accessing ARTstor from off-campus, in order to effectively use all of the ARTstor features, there are a number of system configuration requirements.

Create an Account

The option to register is located in the "Log in to ARTstor" box in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Click on "Not Registered? to create your account.   

You must access ARTstor through the Library website to set up your account. However,  once you register with your email address and password, you can log in to ARTstor from any computer. 

Levels of Access

Unregistered users can search, save, and print images, and can view the contents of public Shared Folders.

Registered users can save image groups, add comments to images, and register to view the contents of password-protected Shared Folders. Registration is required to download the Offline Image Viewer.

Instructor Privileges users can create Shared Folders, add instructor commentary, create Personal Collections, and export image groups to PowerPoint.

ARTstor on YouTube

ARTstor provides instructional videos on YouTube. Learn about the "new" ARTstor and see how to register for an account, make new image groups, and download images for presentations.
