New tools and resources make managing your research impact and scholarly reputation easier than ever. These new methods, termed "altmetrics" or alternative metrics, are ways to measure the impact of your scholarship beyond the traditional measures such as number of citations or journal impact factor. Altmetrics seek to tell the "story" of how your research is found, discussed and applied once it has  been made available.

The Research and Learning Services Division can help you:

• Find research impact metrics (both traditional such as impact factors and H-index, as well as alternative metrics)
• Manage your project planning and dissemination activities via Open Science Framework
• Identify your unique professional personal through integration in manuscript, grant submission, and other research workflows to ensure you receive attribution for your scholarly work via ORCID
