Reserve Textbooks

Frequently used library materials and requested course textbooks are made available to checkout at the main Circulation desk. Reserve items can be checked out for 2-hours or 7-days. Click below or click here to see a list of all materials on reserve.

Library Catalog

To find a book in the OSU Libraries system, try searching the catalog:

  • Big Orange Search System (BOSS)
    Broadly searches the library catalog with options to limit to document type (book, journal, etc), library location, publication year and much more! A great place to start as you begin your research.
  • Classic Catalog
    Try searching in Advanced Search and you'll be able to search by title, author, keyword, ISBN, plus many more options. There are also fields to limit by library location, publication year, and format.
  • WorldCat
    Still not able to find what you need? Try searching WorldCat which searches thousands of library catalogs from around the world. When you do find what you need, simply select "Borrow from another library" and have it sent to you!
