A&M Consortium: FOLIO Cataloging Technology and Library of Things Items: Overview

This guide will give basic advice on making brief records for Technology and/or Library of Things items.

Overview of Cataloging Equipment and/or 'Library of Things' Collections

For consistency and ease of use, we suggest the following method for cataloging equipment/technology and other of 'library of things' items.

  1.  Create a New Instance Record
  2.  Add Holdings
  3.  Add Items

It is also possible to speed up the process by adding a Fast Add Record.  This is not suggested unless the record is suppressed.
