Advice on cataloging with the shared A&M Consortium FOLIO Client

Single Record Import

  1. To do a single record import, go to the Inventory App in FOLIO and click on "Import" in the Actions drop-down menu.FOLIO'S Inventory App. Picture of options in drop-down Actions menu

  2. Then choose your institution in the pop-up menu, choose a job profile (usually default), and enter the OCLC number into the last field.Pop-up window where user chooses their university, choses a profile, and enters an identifier.

This process may be helpful for some cataloging tasks, but it requires the cataloger to find the OCLC number and use their preferred method to update OCLC holdings. This LibGuide suggests Option A.
