This resource allows users to find out how native speakers speak and write; find frequency of words, phrases, and collocates; look at language variation and change; gain insight into culture; and design authentic language teaching materials and resources.
- TalkBankTalkBank is a large open access integrated repository for spoken language data. It provides language corpora and other audio resources to support researchers in Psychology, Linguistics, Education, Computer Science, and Speech Pathology. The goal of TalkBank is to foster fundamental research in the study of human communication with an emphasis on spoken communication. Currently, TalkBank provides repositories in 14 research areas, including child language development, aphasia, TBI, autism, and conversation analysis.

Center for Applied Linguistics is a non-profit organization for the study of bilingual education, TESL, dialect studies, language policy, and other linguistics topics. The site provides resources and information about research projects and services.
CompPile is a free Web bibliography of journal articles and other publications in post-secondary composition, rhetoric, technical writing, ESL, and discourse studies from 1939 to the present. It does not require an OSU ID to search, and does not have full-text articles.

Linguistic Society of America is a major professorial organization dedicated to supporting and disseminating linguistics scholarship to linguists and the general public.
MIT Working Papers in Linguistics publishes working papers and dissertations in linguistics from MIT, the University of Connecticut, and the University of Rochester. Papers can be requested from Interlibrary Services if OSU does not own them.
