- The Association of Religion Data Archives (ARDA)The ARDA collection includes data on churches and church membership, religious professionals, and religious groups. Users can download data files, perform custom analyses, and review related codebooks online.
- ICPSRSocial science data archive, including datasets in religion and religious attitudes. Anyone can create an account and get access to some of the data. In order to get full access as part of a member institution, users will need to login to ICPSR from on campus. This will validate the account for the next six months.
- iPolliPoll is a database of public opinion research and responses, searchable at the level of the question. Over 800,000 items dating back to 1935 are included.
- U.S. Religious Landscape SurveyBased on interviews with more than 35,000 American adults, this extensive survey by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life details the religious makeup, religious beliefs and practices as well as social and political attitudes of the American public.
- World Religion DatabaseThe World Religion Database (WRD) contains detailed statistics on religious affiliation for every country of the world. It provides source material, including censuses and surveys, as well as best estimates for every religion to offer a definitive picture of international religious demography.
- StatistaStatista consolidates statistical data on over 80,000 topics from more than 22,500 sources. It includes insights and facts across 600 industries and 50+ countries.
- The 2020 Census of American ReligionPRRI worked with NORC to use the American Values Atlas survey data from 2013-2019, which includes interviews with random samples of 459,822 U.S. adults (ages 18 and over) to generate county-level estimates for each religious affiliation in 3,142 counties in all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia,
