The Edmon Low Library has closed to all visitors, including staff. As a result Interlibrary Services is no longer able to provide scans from Course Reserves, physical items in the library collection, and items on the Circulation hold shelf. Unfortunately, we can no longer ship items to your home address. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your continued patience during this time. Please email us if you have any questions.
Interlibrary Services is now accepting requests for chapter scans from required course materials. Due to the closure of the OSU library, materials located on Course Reserve are no longer accessible. As a result, Interlibrary Services will no longer cancel chapter requests for items that are located on Course Reserve.
Although classes have moved online and the OSU Library is closed to the public, Interlibrary Services is working diligently to try to provide your research needs. Unfortunately, ILS is currently unable to borrow physical items from other libraries, but we continue to process requests for articles and book chapters.
Please keep the following things in mind:
- The OSU Library is operating remotely. Turnaround times may be longer as a result.
- Only request one chapter/article per request
- OSU is still bound by copyright laws.
- Libraries across the world are closing their doors and sending staff to work remotely. This may limit the resources available to borrow.
- Please reach out to us if you have questions or concerns email@example.com
- We thank you for your patience during this time.
Don't forget to log into the Anywhere Library Access in order to access OSU online resources:
Books OSU Does Not Own
Purchase on Demand Program
ILS is continuing the Purchase Demand Program for electronic items only. If you need an item that is not owned by the OSU library and has been published in the last 10 years, it may be eligible for our Purchase on Demand Program.
On the Book request form, make sure that the box titled "Will you accept an electronic version of this book?" is checked, and we may be able to purchase an electronic copy to add to the OSU collection.
If the item does not qualify for the program we will have to cancel the request.
