A pathfinder to identifying and finding tests and measures in the social sciences.

Finding Tests in Other Databases

Some library databases, while not focused on tests and measures, have search features to help you locate them in journal articles. These are unpublished tests.

PsycINFO

Search Steps:

  1. Go to Advanced Search.
  2. Scroll down to the Test & measure search box.
  3. Search by a topic keyword (e.g., depression) and click search.
  4. Your results will include articles with tests and measures on your topic appended.
  5. Alternately, you can click the Look up Test & measures link to the right of the search box for a list of available instruments and search or browse within that list.

ERIC

Search Steps:

  1. Click Advanced Search.
  2. Enter your topic keywords in the search boxes.
  3. Under "Special Limiters for ERIC," choose Publication Type: Tests/Questionnaires.
