- National Health and Nutrition Examination SurveyThe NHANES is a program of studies designed to assess the health and nutritional status of adults and children in the United States. The survey is unique in that it combines interviews and physical examinations.
- Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance SystemThe BRFSS is the nation's premier system of health-related telephone surveys that collect state data about U.S. residents regarding their health-related risk behaviors, chronic health conditions, and use of preventive services. Began in 1984 and covers all 50 states.
- Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance SystemThe YRBSS monitors six types of health-risk behaviors that contribute to the leading causes of death and disability among youth and adults.
- USDA Food Environment AtlasThe objectives of the Atlas are to assemble statistics on food environment indicators to stimulate research on the determinants of food choices and diet quality, and to provide a spatial overview of a community's ability to access healthy food and its success in doing so.
