Creating Accessible Learning: MS Word
Why It Matters
Microsoft Word is a tool that we can use to create documents. Building accessibility into your Word document from the start should be an integrated part of your design process as it ensures that users of all abilities have equal and equivalent access to your content. Accessibility in Word enables your docs to work properly with assistive technology. It also lays the foundation for accessible PDFs (removing many hours of unnecessary rework!).
