Information for editors
Open Journal Systems (OJS) is open-source software created by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) that provides a publishing platform for journals. Journal editors can manage their entire peer-review process from submission to publication using the platform. They can also publish with the platform and use a separate internal process if they prefer. The software creates a journal webpage and supports many features like issuing DOI's, integration with scholarly services like Crossref, ORCiD, and DOAJ. Additionally, articles are automatically indexed by Google Scholar.
In an effort to support open access, Oklahoma State University Libraries hosts an instance of OJS and provides any peer-reviewed journal their own site for free if they commit to making their publication open access. To see a list of journals hosted by OSU visit https://ojs.library.okstate.edu/osu/. For more information, please send inquiries to lib-dls@okstate.edu.
