A Guide to Evidence Synthesis: How We Can Help

Evidence synthesis can be a laborious and time consuming process that can require in-depth planning and coordination from a team of researchers and librarians. As such, we are able to provide the following support offerings. These supports are currently limited to:

Level 1: Consultation

1. Identify the scope of the research through the research question and purpose statement
2. Highlight the differences between various evidence synthesis methodologies
3. Position the faculty member’s research within the most appropriate research methodology
4. Detail the requirements for the appropriate research methodology and the related roles for the research team

Level 2: Short-term Supports

1. Advanced search strategies
2. Database demonstrations
3. Data management tools
