Advanced Search Strategies

Structured searches across multiple databases (PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, etc.) are needed to conduct a thorough review of scholarly literature.  The video "Advanced Search Strategies" (see link below) showcases the basics of searching for literature based on specific keywords/phrases that you are interested in. 

Databases, for the majority, will function the same using the advanced search strategies learned from the video.  However, some databases offer additional search strategies to help you find important literature.  The document "Search Operators for Different Databases" highlights these search operators for popular databases.
