Government Publications at the OSU Library

The OSU Edmon Low Library became a federal depository library in 1907 and regional depository library in 1979. The Library provides access to federal agency materials published by the U.S. Government and distributed through the Federal Depository Library Program and offers reference assistance in using these materials.

Government publications at OSU are located on the 5th floor of the Library and in the Annex storage facility. Many are also available digitally in HathiTrust, one of the databases in the Library's database list.

The older materials on the south side of the 5th floor and at the Annex use the Jackson classification system, and those on the north side use the Superintendent of Documents call number system, both of which organize the materials by agency.
