Checkout Information for Devices: Faculty & Staff Checkouts
Every faculty and staff laptop comes in convenient carrying case and contains a laptop, optical mouse, and power cord. All items come with the checkout and should be accounted for upon return.
Faculty and Staff members have the option to check out either a Dell laptop or a MacBook Pro.
The checkout period for Faculty and Staff devices is 7 days. These items cannot be renewed, but can be swapped out for a new one on the due date.
Unlike the student laptops, these devices do not wipe the hard drive after being turned off or losing power. It is still highly recommended that all documents be saved or backed up, as the laptops must be reformatted upon return. All information will be erased.
Programs can be downloaded on the Dell laptops but not on the MacBooks.
