Check-out, Renew, Request: Renewals

This page describes basic circulation policies. If you have any further questions, please call the Circulation & Information Desk at 405-744-9775.

Introduction

Library books may be renewed, providing they are not recalled, “lost,” or reserve items. You may only renew materials checked out in your name.

4 Ways to Renew Materials !

Online:

From our online catalog, use the "sign in" option at the top right of the page. If logging in off-campus, click on the orange bar at the top of the page. After signing in, a link to your current loans will appear on the upper right of the screen. From this this link, you will be able to renew your eligible items.

Please note that some materials, such as interlibrary loans, reserve material, and technology, are not eligible for renewals. Please contact us if you have questions about an item that you are not able to renew online.

In person:

If you are in the library, you can renew your books at the east side of the circulation point with your ID card even if you don’t have the books with you. You will be notified of the new due date by the Circulation Desk staff at the time you renew your books.

By email:

lib-cir@okstate.edu

Include your full name and ID number. You will be notified by return email of the new due dates.

By phone:

The renewal telephone number is 405-744-9741. You will be notified of the new due date when you call in to renew. Please have your ID number ready before you call.
