Advice on cataloging with the shared A&M Consortium FOLIO Client
Adding, Suppressing, and Deleting Holdings Records
Add holdings using FOLIO's "Add Holdings" button in the Instance Record. Each institution's locations have already been added to the system, and they are easily accessible through a dropdown dialogue box.
The most important information in the Holdings Record is the location and the call number. It is recommended to place the location and call number in the Holdings Record; however, if there is also a location and call number in the Item Record, the entries in the Item Record will take precedence.
