Add Item Records
Adding item records are similar to holdings records. Watch the following video by the Fenway Library Organization for details.
Things to note!
1. Play close attention to the "Material Type" and "Permanent Loan Type" fields. These settings will alter how the item circulates for the institution's patrons. Check with folio@okstate.email.libanswers.com for explanations of circulations rules.
2. There are many options in the Actions menu for Item Records. Make sure to choose the right option for your organization. Most likely, your organization will want to follow through many steps with an item before withdrawing an item.
